Partner Reading Strategies
1. Read- Pause-Discuss- discuss the section that you just read with your partner.

2. Read- Pause-Question- After reading your section, ask your partner a question about what you just read.

3. Read-Pause-Retell- After reading your section, retell the story events in order.

4. Read-Pause-Sketch-After reading your section, sketch a scene.

5. Read-Pause-Predict- After reading your section, predict what you think the next section will be about.

6. Read-Pause-Say Something- After reading your section both people comment on the section that was just read.

7. Read-Pause-Write a Question- After reading your section, write a question you have about the reading.
